Dassault Falcon Gains ODA Status
FAA has granted organization designation authorization (ODA) to the Dassault Aircraft Services facility at LIT (Adams Field Airport, Little Rock) in Arkansas. The ODA allows Dassault to issue supplemental type certificates (STCs) on behalf of the U.S. agency, replacing LIT’s Designated Alteration Station (DAS) method of receiving STC approval. More than 30 people in Dassault’s ODA organization completed initial training in 2009. The manufacturer is pursuing ODA for its facility in Wilmington, Del., and intends to obtain parts manufacturer approval (PMA) and major repair and alterations (MRA) certifications in the future.
