Click, Miro Combine PBL Software

Miro Technologies has partnered with Click Commerce to develop and market an aftermarket maintenance and logistics software package for the aviation, defense and commercial MRO industries. The software, which will include performance-based logistics (PBL) concepts, will integrate Click’s suite of applications, including aftermarket demand/supply planning, warehouse management and network logistics programs, with Miro’s GOLDesp program. GOLDesp uses the company’s experience supporting contractor logistics support (CLS) and contractor supported weapons systems (CSWS) to create a PBL-focused offering. David Barboro, general manager of Click Commerce’s service network solutions division, notes that, “Miro’s capabilities in maintenance and material management execution are the perfect complement for our service network focused operational and decision support solutions.” The decision to proceed with the new software follows a partnership with Supply Chain Vision, a consulting firm that worked with Click and Miro to bring together software functions from the two companies and provided an assessment of the market demand for the combined product.
