Sequa Corp. division Chromalloy has established an office in Burlington, Mass. to serve as a liaison to the
FAA’s engine and propeller certification directorate on its part manufacturer approval (PMA) programs. The office will become the point of contact for the agency during the early stages of the PMA approval process, allowing regular face-to-face contact and “improved communication, early identification and resolution of potential problems,” says Thomas Howard, vice president of corporate integrity. He adds that the Burlington branch will speed approval of PMA and STC projects.
