China Certifies MxPro

Wichita, Kan.-based Hawker Beechcraft Corp. and FlightSafety International (FSI) have obtained Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) approval for its MxPro Regulatory program involving the Hawker 4000 and King Air C90. Christi Tannahill, HBC’s vice president of global customer support, explains that once mechanics complete the initial training and MxPro Regulatory program, they “receive the equivalent of a maintenance type rating and are permitted to service the aircraft in China.”
