CSeries Test Barrel Delivered

A fuselage test barrel for the Bombardier CSeries aircraft has arrived at the company’s facility in Laurent, Quebec. China Aviation Industry unit Shenyang Aircraft Corp. built the barrel, which is 23 feet long with a maximum diameter of 12 feet. Bombardier will use the barrel for engineering, structural and wind tunnel testing of CS100 and CS300 jets.
