Boeing Supports Austrian Airlines

Austrian Airlines’ fleet of four 777-200ERs are to be monitored by Boeing’s Airplane Health Management (AHM), a software system that facilitates the management of unscheduled aircraft maintenance. Austrian Airlines’ maintenance operation center, engineers and mechanics will use AHM to collect and evaluate in-flight data in real time. AHM enables airlines to begin working faults while the aircraft is still airborne, minimizing down time and turning unscheduled maintenance into planned activities. Nearly 28 percent of the world’s 777 fleet is currently monitored by AHM.
