Boeing Employee Wins Stinson Award
Nelda K. Lee, a test engineer at Boeing’s facility in St. Louis, is the recipient of the National Aeronautic Association’s 2010 Katherine and Marjorie Stinson award. A 35-year employee of Boeing/McDonnell Douglas, Lee oversees ground and flight test engineering for the F-15 Eagle, F/A-18 Hornet, AV-8 Harrier and T-45 Goshawk programs in St. Louis, and serves as a manager for test and evaluation staff at sites in China Lake, Calif., Elgin AFB, Fla. and Patuxent River, Md. NAA will present the award to Lee at a Feb. 26 banquet during the 2011 International Women in Aviation Conference in Reno, Nev.
