DynCorp of Falls Church, Va. has received an $11.2-million contract from the U.S. Army Aviation Missile Command to support the Kuwait Air Force’s Apache AH-64D fleet. As part of the deal, DynCorp will supply a maintenance augmentation team (MAT) to help assist with a goal of achieving a 75 percent operational rate for the Apache fleet. The two-year contract includes an option for a third year, which would increase the total value to $16 million.
