AmSafe Installs Airbag on Wagstaff's Cirrus SR22

AmSafe Inc. announced it has installed the AmSafe Aviation Inflatable Restraint (AAIR) on the Cirrus SR22 aircraft used
by aerobatic pilot Patty Wagstaff. “After learning that our airbag is now standard equipment on newly manufactured Cirrus SR20 and SR22 models, Patty came to us expressing great interest in installing the system on her 2005 model SR22 knowing it has proven to reduce serious head and neck injury during survivable impact incidents,” said Joe Smith, general manager of the AAIR product line. “Patty is one of the growing numbers of pilots who are opting to retrofit the airbag system on their aircraft to attain the highest level of safety available.”
