Alaska Air Will Not Change Its Boeing Fleet
The FAA will not require the airline to change its Boeing 737-400 fleet, despite four emergency landing last month that were caused by similar problems. The FAA said that the airline and Boeing are still investigating why the trailing wing flaps wouldn’t fully extend before landing. The FAA considers a reduced-flap landing as “not an unsafe event,” though they don not consider it routine either. For related news
