AircraftLogs Receives $1.7 Million For Technology Expansion
AircraftLogs, developing and launching new aviation technologies, has received commitments from the State of Ohio and private investors totaling nearly $1.7 million to fund technology development and growth. The State of Ohio awarded AircraftLogs a $690,000 low-interest loan from the Innovation Ohio Fund, which helps Ohio companies develop next-generation products and services. Earlier this year, AircraftLogs was also approved for participation in the Ohio Technology Investment Tax Credit (OTITC) program, which provides tax incentives to investors in qualified Ohio companies. That designation paved the way for nearly $1 million in private investments this year. AircraftLogs will use the financing to fund a two-year, $920,000 technology program that is expected to expand the technology and services it provides to corporate and private aircraft operators. AircraftLogs also expects to create approximately 40 jobs over the next five years. Specific development areas include integration with light aircraft manufacturers and greater services for business aircraft operators.
