Aircell SwiftBroadband Installations Commence

Broomfield, Colo.-based Aircell has obtained certification for its SwiftBroadband Internet and phone connection, and installations of the system have started. Venezuela’s Aviando Services’ Dornier 328 is the first aircraft to receive the Aircell product, with Germany’s 328 Support Services performing the installation. With SwiftBroadband, passengers can use laptop computers and Smartphones for e-mail and web services while in flight.
