Air New Zealand Wins Heavy Maintenance Contract
Hawaiian Airlines awarded Air New Zealand Technical Operations a five-year, NZ$45 million contract to conduct heavy maintenance on the airlines’ fleet of 18 wide-body Boeing 767s. The first aircraft will arrive in Tech Ops’ Auckland heavy maintenance hangar in mid-August and Tech Ops’ GM, Chris Nassenstein said that the Hawaiian contract virtually filled the spare capacity on the heavy maintenance production line.
