Air Force Offers Online A&P Courses

The U.S. Air Force has made its aircraft maintenance training for airframe and powerplant (A&P) certification courses available through its Web-based Air University Online. The mechanic courses are included in the Air Force program. On completion, Air Force personnel can test for the FAA A&P certification. According to the Air Force, the courses — available for technicians in all branches of the military — are designed to “bridge the gap” between military and civilian maintenance training and education.
