Air Force Contracts Boeing
Boeing won a $1.1 billion U.S. Air Force contract to provide maintenance services for the Eisenhower-era aerial refueling tankers. Under the 10-year contract, the company will perform services including depot-level maintenance, repairs and repainting for more than 200 aerial refueling aircraft at facilities in Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri. The deal was initially awarded in 1998 and Boeing has performed maintenance services for more than 160 aircraft since then. For related news
