Aerospace Welding Secures EASA Approval

EASA has granted a Part 145 certificate to Aerospace Welding Minneapolis Inc. (AWI) for its aircraft exhaust parts and engine mounts. With the approval, AWI can export repaired and overhauled parts to EASA member countries. AWI has also added a staff member with FAA designated manufacturing inspection representative (DMIR) approval, which allows the company to issue export certificates of airworthiness for any Aero-Power parts that hold FAA-PMA approval.
