Active Aero Obtains Part 145 Certification

FAA has issued Part 145 certification to Active Aero for its facility at Willow Run Airport (YIP) in Detroit, Mich. The approval allows Active Aero to conduct airframe, engine and limited avionics maintenance. Repair and maintenance will be available on more than 200 turbine and piston-powered aircraft. The company also runs a fixed-base operation (FBO) at the airport.
