Academy Graduates 24 Maintenance Technicians

Ethiopian Aviation Academy has graduated 24 aircraft maintenance technicians that completed two years of airframe, engine and avionics training. Eighteen of the mechanics have found work at the academy’s parent organization, Ethiopian Airways. In addition to receiving type ratings, the students were given instruction in components, airframes and engines for commercial aircraft. The academy, which has trained 2,372 technicians since 1967, has a current enrollment of 308 students.
