AWAM Scholarship Deadline Approaches

The Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance (AWAM) is offering scholarships from various aircraft repair companies as part of its 2009 awards program. Applications are due by Nov. 21, 2008. Training scholarships include programs from Abaris, CAE SimuFlite, Elliott Aviation, FlightSafety Intl, Girard Aviation, Horizon Air, jetBlue, Pratt & Whitney and Southwest Airlines. AWAM mentors are available at scholarships@awam.org for assistance with the application process.
