ATS, Sojitz Ink Maintenance Pact
Aviation Technical Services (ATS) has signed a five-year agreement to collaborate on heavy maintenance and modification services for Japanese-registered jets in North America. The companies will use the ATS facilities at Paine Field (PAE) in Everett, Wash. and the Sojitz site in Japan which is a Boeing International Services contractor, to target mods on Japanese-registered aircraft coming off the assembly line. The aggrancement also covers Sojitz sponsoring an ATS bid to obtain Japanese JCAB certification.
