ATI-Singapore Acquisition Complete

GE Aviation has finalized its $300-million purchase of Airfoil Technologies Intl (ATI) in Singapore. GE, which previously owned 49 percent, bought the remaining 51 percent of the engine component repair company from Teleflex Inc. ATI-Singapore has around 535 employees, with revenues of roughly $7 billion in 2008. The company will support all GE engines, CF6 and CFM56 engines, as well as Honeywell and Pratt & Whitney components.
