AAR Taps Former FAA Mx Head

Dave Cann, who retired from FAA in January 2008 as head of the agency’s Flight Standards Service, Aircraft Maintenance division, has joined AAR Corp. He will work as VP of regulatory compliance, overseeing quality and safety at AAR’s repair station businesses. During his tenure at FAA, Cann served as a central point of contact for the aircraft maintenance industry and represented FAA to Congress and other government agencies, including NTSB.
