Alteon Opens Regional Training Center in Singapore

Alteon Training, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company officially opened its Singapore Training Center last week. Mr. Lim Hng Kiang, Singapore’s minister for Trade and Industry was the guest of honor at the ceremony. The state-of-the-art facility houses seven full flight simulator bays. Four full-flight simulators are currently installed including a Boeing 777-200/300; a Boeing 737 300/400/500; an Airbus A320; and a Fokker 100. A Boeing 737-800 is planned for installation in mid-2007 and the Boeing 787 is scheduled to arrive in the first quarter of 2008.
