EADS Sogerma, TAT Group in Joint Venture

The new entity, Sogerma Services, will be wholly-owned by TAT Group in the new year. The July takeover by TAT Group of the maintenance activities at the Bordeaux Mérignac site in France, and the reindustrialization efforts undertaken by all partners, has saved 517 jobs. All industrial facilities and technical skills will be transferred to Sogerma Services, allowing full support to civil and military customers. The newly formed venture appointed Philippe Rochet, an MRO specialist, as its managing director. “We will focus our efforts on guaranteeing unparalleled reliability,” stated Rochet.
