StandardAero Springfield to Reopen

After receiving customer feedback, StandardAero has decided to reopen its 225,000-square-foot service center in Springfield, Ill. The shop specializes in engine maintenance for TFE731-powered aircraft. Plans call for operations to restart in Springfield in third quarter 2010 for TFE731 services, and StandardAero will add other types based on customer requests.
