BLR King Air 90 Winglets Approved

FAA has certified BLR Aerospace’s Winglet Systems for installation on the King Air 90. The certification applies to C90A, C90GT and C90GTi versions, and BLR is pursuing approval of earlier C90 variants and the C90E. BLR says the winglets can lower fuel consumption by more than five percent, with a boost in range and more than 10 percent reduction in climb. C90 winglet deliveries are set to begin imminently.
