KLM and Honeywell Sign MRO Deal

KLM Engineering & Maintenance and Honeywell have signed an agreement to establish a maintenance, repair and overhaul centre for auxiliary power units (APUs) at Schiphol, The Netherlands. The partnership will allow KLM E&M to expand its MRO business to offer maintenance services on the B737NG, B777, A330 and A340 APU. According to Honeywell, this will allow them to focus on the supply of parts, repairs, and technology. The APU MRO centre will be set up at EPCOR B.V., a fully owned subsidiary of KLM E&M and is expected to repair its first APU in the second quarter of 2007. More
