Universal Avionics Announces G-II and G-III Flight Deck Retrofit Program

Universal Avionics along with IFR Avionics announced today that the first EFI-890R G-III flight deck retrofit is underway. The installation will include 4-Universal Avionics EFI-890 flat panel displays, the Vision-1 Synthetic Vision System, Electronic Charts (ASU), and dual Radio Tuning Units (RCU). Options for future installations include EVS (Enhanced Vision System), AHRS (Attitude/Heading Reference Sensors), RADAR, and FMS upgrades. Completion of the initial aircraft and subsequent STC approval is on schedule for early 1st Qtr ’07.  IFR is also looking for a Gulfstream model G-II candidate aircraft to add to this STC. More
