Savannah Air Center Transitions to Midcoast

Jet Aviation has announced plans to change the name of its Savannah Air Center (SAC) subsidiary to Midcoast Aviation, which is also a Jet Aviation company. The change will take effect on Jan. 1. In addition, the company has named Frank DeFelice as the vice president and general manager of Midcoast Aviation in Savannah, replacing SAC founder and president Jeff Zacharius, who has retired. Midcoast will now operate two maintenance and completion centers—in St. Louis and Savannah—under President Don Petersen.
