Parts Counterfeiter Gets Jail Time

A man who pleaded guilty to selling non-certified aircraft parts has received a federal prison sentence of 2.5 years. Prosecutors said that Duane Lepire, 74, of Los Angeles, sold commercial-grade rubber gaskets, or O-rings, for the Boeing 737 through his business, Chatsworth Rubber and Gasket Co.
