Succession Plan in Place for Midcoast
Jet Aviation has announced a change of leadership at its MRO subsidiary, Midcoast Aviation, whose president is planning to retire. Following 29 years at the company, Kurt Sutterer will step down in May from his role as Midcoast president and head of Jet Aviation’s MRO and completions business.

Don Petersen, a former Gulfstream vice president, will take over Sutterer’s roles — which include head of Savannah Air Center — on April 20. Sutterer will stay on until May for a transition period and then continue to serve an advisory role for the company.
