Transport Canada Approves Dart Mod

Dart Helicopter Services, Piney Flats, Tenn., has obtained Transport Canada (TC) approval to install its full reference door modification kit on Bell 204/205/212/214 and 412 helicopters. The kit, which includes a bubble window, armrest and equipment to modify the left-side door and relocate instruments, improves visibility of hanging cargo and monitors flight instruments. Dart also plans a variation for right-hand helicopter doors and a kit with a more shallow bubble window. FAA and EASA certification of the left-side door kit are still pending.
