Mx Training Center Planned in India

CFM International has established a memorandum of agreement with GMR Hyderabad Intl Airport Ltd. to develop a CFM56 training center at the Rajiv Gandhi Airport (HYD) in India. Intended to mirror CFM facilities in France, China and the U.S., the HYD complex would initially supply CFM56-5B and -7B maintenance and inspections. Once operational, the facility, which is planned in a special economic zone dedicated to MRO, will train up to 500 engineers annually, according to Paul-Andre Chevrin, CFM Intl vice president for India.
