GKN Delivers 50th A330/340 Set

U.K.-based GKN Aerospace has handed over the 50th full set of composite wing flap components for the Airbus A330/340. The delivery is part of a $72-million contract that began in January 2008. All of the wing flap components are manufactured at GKN’s facility in Munich, Germany before heading to the Airbus complex in Bremen, where final assembly of the landing flap is completed.
