Air Works Approved as Airline MRO

Indian MRO provider Air Works has obtained Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approval to perform maintenance and repair on commercial aircraft from its facility in Hosur, which is near Bangalore. Air Works will offer line and base maintenance, structural repairs, cabin and avionics upgrades, painting and other services from an existing hangar. The company plans to build two additional hangars at Hosur by the end of 2009 and invest up to $40 million at the site.
