Modified 757s Delivered to NZ Air Force

ST Aerospace has delivered the first of two modified Boeing 757-200s to the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF). Based on a contract awarded in November 2005, the company converted the aircraft from passenger to freighter layout, including upgrades in the avionics and other modifications for multiple missions, including for the military, aero-medical evacuation, VIP transport and tasks in remote operating environments. Work on the first RNZAF 757s took place at the ST Aerospace Engineering facility in Mobile, Ala. The company expects to deliver the second aircraft by the end of this year.
