From Forbes: Aer Lingus Group said it has taken a further step towards cutting its aircraft maintenance bill by more than 20 million euros by signing deals with maintenance contractor SR Technics. The Irish flag carrier said it has concluded contracts with SR Technics Ireland for line activities in Dublin related to most of its
Airbus A320/321 and A330 aircraft. Maintenance services under these new arrangements will begin July 6. A consortium of investors from the United Arab Emirates made up of Mubadala Development, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) and Istithmar owns SR Technics. SR's board and management has a minority share. In April, Aer Lingus said it had concluded contracts with Sabena Technics and Sogerma Services of the TAT Group to maintain A320 and A330 jets from Nov 1 in France.
