Goodrich To Provide Nacelles For Turbofan

Pratt & Whitney has chosen Goodrich Corp to supply nacelle systems for its Geared Turbofan, which will be used on the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) and Bombardier’s CSeries line. Under the agreement, Goodrich Aerostructures of Chula Vista, Calif., will provide full nacelle systems for each aircraft, including the inlet, fan cowl, engine mounts, thrust reverser and exhaust system. Goodrich anticipates the deal will generate over $5 billion during a 25-year period after entry into service.
