Jet Aviation Group has completed the acquisition of maintenance and completions company Savannah Air Center (SAC). The transaction size was not be disclosed. The acquisition of SAC supports Jet Aviation's strategic objective of expanding its global services network,”said Peter G. Edwards, CEO of the Jet Aviation Group. Savannah Air Center will be integrated into Jet Aviation's maintenance and completions organization in the U.S. with locations in Boston/Bedford, Chicago, Palm Beach, St. Louis and Teterboro operated by Midcoast Aviation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Jet Aviation Group of Companies. SAC will retain its name and will continue to operate with a consistent team in place under the leadership of the company's CEO Jeff Zacharius, who now will report directly to Kurt Sutterer, president of Midcoast Aviation.
