Spirit Will Provide Maintenance in the U.K.

Spirit AeroSystems Inc. will begin providing commercial aircraft MRO services in Europe next year. Spirit’s plant in Prestwick, Scotland, will provide commercial MRO services for European and Middle Eastern airlines. It initially will focus on repairing engine nacelles and thrust reversers for Boeing 737NG and 777 aircraft, beginning in mid-2008. The European MRO capabilities will complement Spirit's Wichita repair center that supplies nacelle and thrust reverser services. For related news
