The five-year material agreement supports KLM’s CF6-50 engine overhaul operation and includes the use of used and new material in overhauling the engines. Bill Millhaem, general manager of material services at GE Aviation explained how the company will begin the project this summer using its Amsterdam materials warehouse, which will speed up the CF6-50 overhaul process. “GE works with its customers to create a unique solution to meet their maintenance needs,” Millhaem reported.
