TrueNorth Avionics Introduces Simphonē

TrueNorth Avionics, Inc. announced recently the introduction of the complete SimphonÄ“ Integrated Cabin Environment product line, which is available now.  The SimphonÄ“ Solo offers a cabin communication solution for Inmarsat and Iridium by providing all industry standard interfaces from POTS to CEPT-E1. SimphonÄ“ Duo offers all of the features of Solo and includes a fully integrated dual channel Iridium transceiver for voice and data. Iridium voice quality is achieved with a TrueNorth exclusive all digital interface. SimphonÄ“ Chorus adds to the features of Solo and Duo, Chorus also provides integrated Wi-Fi, data routing and firewall capabilities for high speed data and future broadband. SimphonÄ“ Alto is an IP multi-media handset featuring a large sunlight readable color display with a noise-canceling microphone for superior audio quality. In addition to new and retrofit installations, SimphonÄ“ can also be used for Magnastar owners looking for a replacement solution that increases capability without sacrificing cabin handset functionality and style. SimphonÄ“ uses a single 4 MCU Avionics LRU qualified to DO-160E for installations inside or outside the pressure vessel. All system setup and configuration is performed via an easy to use web based GUI and then stored in the aircraft mounted SimphonÄ“ Personality Module. SimphonÄ“ will be sold and supported through a worldwide dealer network using TrueNorth Avionics’ 24/7 dealer hotline and interactive web based portal.
