Ameco Beijing has nominated Klaus Reymer as executive director of quality management and named Hans-Josef Weilbaecher deputy executive director of personnel administration. Previously technical director of postholder maintenance, Reymer will succeed Reinhard Musyal.

Paul Whitcraft, director of quality, safety and engineering for Temperance, Mich.-based Rolled Alloys, is the 2009 chairman of ASTM Intl’s board of directors. He has been a member of the international standards organization for more than 30 years and served on numerous ASTM committees.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics has promoted Rick Jones to senior vice president of solutions and Ron Kato to VP of global sourcing and manufacturing. Jones was most recently VP of the Sensing & Utility Systems business unit. Kato was formerly VP and general manager of Crane’s Burbank, Calif. location.

Jeff Reichert is the new general manager of OPW Fluid Transfer Group. The promotion follows OPW Engineered Systems’ former president, Tim Warning, becoming president of OPW Fluid Transfer. Reichert was previously director, quality and productivity for OPW Engineered Systems.

Ashtead Technology’s board of directors has elected Derek Shepherd as a non-executive director. Shepherd has served as managing director of Aggreko Intl for the past 10 years.

London-based Airclaims Ltd. has hired Paul Jenkins, Simon Martin, Ian Cox and James Rust for various positions. Jenkins, who comes from XL Airways, will serve as technical services engineer for Airclaims. A former deputy line maintenance manager for Aeropeople, Martin is surveyor/project manager. Cox, who was previously a powerplant manager for British Airways, will hold the same title with Airclaims. Rust will serve as a technician, supporting technical services engineers, surveyors and project managers.
