Montreal Jet Center has appointed John Moyn to the position of vice-president, sales and marketing. Moyn, who was most recently with Innotech Aviation, will be based in Wilmington, Delaware.
Craig Corey has been named director of marketing, engines for McKechnie Aerospace Aftermarket Group. Prior to joining McKechnie, Corey was with Northwest Airlines.
Aviation Material and Technical Support named Bill Ousley as their Falcon program manager. He was formerly with Midcoast Aviation and Dallas Airmotive.
3M Aerospace has hired Steve Falteisek and Lisa Rice and has appointed Patrick Zimmerman to all serve in the newly created position of application development engineer.
Keith Lewis of Stevens Aviation has been named the FAA 2004 avionics maintenance technician of the year for the southern region. Lewis has 37 years experience as an avionics technician and has been with Stevens Aviation since 1970.
Jeff Roberts has been appointed as group president of CAE's civil simulation and training business unit.
Sabreliner-Midcoast has restructured its sales team. Rodger Renaud has been promoted to senior director, major modifications sales. Blake Hogge has been promoted to director, avionics sales. Steve Bates has joined sales as director, maintenance sales. Morris Smith, senior director, technical programs, has assumed Bates's former responsibilities including supervision of the airframe product management team. John Jelovic will take over as director, customer support and sales.
Mark Karls has joined Savannah Air Center as manager of aircraft maintenance. Karls was most recently with Gulfstream Aerospace in Dallas, Texas.
DeCrane Aircraft Seating has announced the addition of Kyle Barker as OEM program manager and Bear Huber as a program manager.
Ron Vinson has been promoted to director, maintenance standards for FlightSafety International. He has been with FlightSafety for 24 years and was an instructor for pilots and maintenance technicians, as well as director of training.
Also at FlightSafety, Bill Magyar has been promoted to director, regional maintenance training operations. Magyar was most recently the manager of the Wichita Raytheon Maintenance Training Center. In his new position he will be responsible for FlightSafety's Maintenance Learning Centers in Wichita and the Falcon Jet Little Rock Maintenance training center. He will also act as a coordinator for other FSI directors of maintenance training.
Diana Bross recently joined Corporate Rotable & Supply. She has been brought in to assist the repair control department at CRS.
Messier Services International, a member of the Snecma Group, has appointed Gilles Bouctot chairman and chief executive officer. He is a graduate engineer from the Ecole Centrale de Paris and began his career with Snecma in 1983. In 1993, he was appointed head of the prototype manufacturing unit, and two years later became head of the unit dedicated to rotating parts on aircraft engines.
Aerospace Products International announced that Paul J. Fanelli has joined the company as senior vice president and chief operating officer. Fanelli comes to API from Amsterdam, where he served as the European president of Brightpoint, Inc.
Also announced by Aerospace Products International is the appointment of Glen Golden as vice president, materials and vendor relations. Golden will manage the product portfolio, including procurement, warranty administration and other functions involving vendor relationships.
Dr. Thomas Stuger will take over as the new chief executive product and services of Lufthansa Technik as of November of this year. He is currently in charge of the aircraft maintenance division.
NetJets announced that David Miller has joined the company as senior vice president, fleet management. Most recently Miller was with L-3 Communications and prior to that was with GE Aircraft Engines.
Keystone Helicopter announced that 48-year veteran employee, John Profico, has earned the FAA's Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award. "We are extremely proud of John Profico's accomplishment, especially since we believe he may be the first recipient of this prestigious award who has worked exclusively on helicopters," said Steve Townes, CEO of Keystone.
Keystone also promoted Chuck Hurdleston to the position of director program development, government programs. Hurdleston has been with Keystone since 1998. Prior to coming to Keystone, Hurdleston was a sales representative for UNC Airwork's Rolls-Royce 250 series engines. He is a former Army helicopter pilot and a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
