Chromalloy has promoted Martin George to general manager of its turbine engine repair and overhaul facility in San Diego. A certified Six Sigma Black Belt, he has served as acting GM since January, and prior to that was director of operations in San Diego.

Jim Ziegler is the new president and CEO of Greenwich AeroGroup. Ziegler was previously COO of Jet Aviation with responsibility for maintenance, FBO, charter, aircraft management and completions.

James Chadwick, owner of Chadwick-Helmuth Company and co-inventor of a portable helicopter rotor track and balance system, died on May 2 at his home in Bradbury, Calif. Along with his business partner, Jim Helmuth, Chadwick developed the Vibrex/Stobex portable rotor track and balance system, as well as the model 8500 balancer/analyzer.

Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings has hired James Havers-Strong to lead its service and sales teams. He comes from Akzo Nobel Aerospace Coatings, where he was manager of the North American market.

MAC Aircraft Interior Specialists has appointed Paul Munday to supervise project development in Surrey, UK, overseeing refurbishment service for VIP and commercial customers.

Terry Freeman has taken the role of product support warranty manager for Gulfstream Aerospace. He previously served as warranty supervisor for large-cabin Gulfstream aircraft.
