Dassault has promoted Jean Kayanakis to vice president of Falcon worldwide spares. He was formerly director of eastern hemisphere sales. Kayanakis replaces Frank Youngkin, who was promoted to vice president of western hemisphere customer service in April 2008.
West Star Aviation has appointed Vel Kovacevich to its interior modification sales team. He previously worked in the company’s contracts division, where he produced interior proposals for all of West Star’s facilities. Kovacevich will continue his former role in addition to his new responsibilities.
The South Carolina Technology & Aviation Center (SCTAC) has elected Phil Southerland as 2009 chairman of the Donaldson Development Commission. The organization also named Allen Inglesby vice chair and John D. Hopkins secretary.
Andrew Farrant is the new vice president of marketing and corporate communications for Sequa Corp. He will have oversight for all marketing and corporate communications for Sequa and its subsidiaries, including Chromalloy Gas Turbine. Prior to Sequa, Farrant was most recently with StandardAero.
Ship it AOG has promoted Raymond Goyco to chief operating officer. He was previously vice president of sales ad marketing. Goyco will oversee day-to-day management of the company.
