Reference Pressure Recorder Measures Various Parameters

Crystal Engineering Corp. has introduced nVision, a reference-grade field pressure calibrator that measures and records current, temperature and voltage. The information is displayed graphically on a high-resolution screen. Tom Halaczkiewicz, president of Crystal Engineering, explains that "stored data, or data being recorded, can be displayed graphically where you can easily zoom into and magnify specific events, or zoom out to get a big picture of your test." The San Luis Obispo, Calif.-based company says that nVision supplies pressure measurement accuracy up to 0.025 percent for temperature ranges from -20 to 50 degrees C. Safety Glasses Protect Eyes from Sun, Impact

Alcoa Fastening Systems of Tracy, Calif. has released its Marson-brand HP-3 hand rivet tool. A long, ergonomically shaped handle supplies more leverage during each operation. The spring-loaded handle holds the rivet in the nosepiece, despite various positioning. The HP-3 includes four nosepieces for setting 3/32, 1/8, 5/32 and 3/16-inch blind rivets in alloys. UV Leak Detection Lamp Features Broad Beam

Tracer Products, Westbury, N.Y., has unveiled its Tracerline Tritan 365, a multi-LED, broad-beam UV leak detection lamp. The lamp works with all fluorescent dyes, and has three high-intensity LED lights for fluorescent leak detection, as well as a white light to brighten work areas. The broad beam supplies wide area coverage and the head design allows users to see hard-to-reach areas. Inspection range is 20 feet. Curing Agent Receives SAE Intl Certification

SAE International has certified Royal Adhesives and Sealants’ Hardman WS8032 rapid curing sealant to AMS 3281 Type II specifications. The manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide aircraft sealant is already certified to AS 9100, ISO 9001/200 and AS7200/1 requirements. Royal CEO Ted Clark notes that the sealant’s cure rate "is 50 percent faster than current generation fuel tank sealants, allowing for faster aircraft assembly.
