Sherwin-Williams Aerospace recently announced it now has two complete coating systems — including pretreatment, corrosion protective primer and topcoat — certified with SAE International’s Aerospace Material Specification 3095 (AMS 3095) for Airline Exterior Systems.

Finished with Jet Glo Express™ Polyurethane topcoat, both of these systems can now be used for commercial airline fleets. Sherwin-Williams is one of the first major aviation industry paint and coatings suppliers to also offer a system free of lead and chromate hazards that has received the AMS certification.
