Since 1958, Hawker Pacific Aerospace is one of the world’s leading providers of aircraft landing gear and component overhaul services. With facilities in Los Angeles, London and Hamburg, HPA provides repair/overhaul services for all fixed wing aircraft and helicopters including landing gear and hydromechanic systems. HPA also sells new and overhauled spares.

The company markets its overhaul services to major carriers and is continually signing contracts with airlines around the world. HPA has several large inventories for sale, including Boeing 737, 747, 727, DC-9, DC-8, Dunlop brake parts, Hawker 800 parts and full shipsets of gear. Internal processes include IQ Move, 6’s program, lean management, AS9100, ISO9110, ISO9001, CAAC, EASA, GACA and ANAC.

One of the most significant events in the company’s history took place in September 2000 when Lufthansa Technik AG ("LHT") acquired controlling interest in the company. LHT is the technical and maintenance arm of Deutsche Lufthansa Airlines and generates approximately $2 billion in sales by offering repair and overhaul services to the aviation industry at large. LHT is the world’s largest provider of such services with about 10 percent market share for all outsource commercial aviation maintenance activity. With existing and new service contracts in place, joint marketing strategy and sales partnership with LHT, Hawker Pacific is poised to experience significant growth in the aviation industry.

Over the last five years, the company’s revenue has grown at a rate of 17 percent annually. Market conditions remain favorable, with projected increases in the world fleet and a continuing trend towards increased outsourcing of component services to independent providers like Hawker Pacific.
