Profiles: CORRIDOR® Aviation Service Software
Designed by aviation professionals for aviation businesses, CORRIDOR Aviation Service Software is just that — an enterprise software application designed specifically to improve process and information flow in aviation service facilities. CORRIDOR has set the standard, impacting businesses throughout the industry (FBOs, repair stations, operators, MRO shops and more) by eliminating manual efforts, reducing redundancy, lowering costs, improving speed, and enabling employees to perform higher levels of direct service.
CORRIDOR works with all aspects of aviation service from estimating and quoting to handling work orders on the shop floor, tracking parts cradle-to-grave, verifying regulatory compliance, and managing fuel and line service. CORRIDOR consists of integrated software modules, including Company Database, Inventory, Sales Order, Work Order, Rotable Management, Accounting Integration, Line Sales & Management, Purchasing, Regulatory Compliance, Quoting and more. Each of these modules handles a specific area of the service process and integrates seamlessly with the others to create a complete package.
To better understand how CORRIDOR works alongside established service processes, imagine the following scenario:
-
The customer requests a quote. All information is entered into CORRIDOR in real time. Required parts, expected labor and cost data is easily accessible for quick quoting. Customer-specific information, such as special pricing and preferences, are displayed.
-
The customer arrives at the facility, and work begins. The quote is transferred directly into a work order with the click of a mouse. Whether the job is maintenance, an avionics install, refurbishment or an overhaul, all details are tracked, updated, inspected and monitored in real time. Parts pulled from inventory are tracked, fuel quantities are updated (even in commingled inventories), labor is recorded via a simple barcode scan, and all work is maintained to the task level.
-
The job is completed. An accurate invoice is created and available for the customer before they leave the facility or the item is shipped. Accounting-related data is available in real time for the Accounting department to review.
From job start to finish, CORRIDOR operates in real time and offers a user-friendly interface accessible to technicians, supervisors, line personnel, accountants and purchasing agents. Other operational processes, such as procurement and shipping/receiving, are also maintained in CORRIDOR.
CORRIDOR’s modules can be combined in virtually any configuration to meet specific business needs.
CORRIDOR is available in three editions to match the mission, scope, and size of any aviation service organization.
CORRIDOR is available via two deployment options: Licensing and an ASP (Application Service Provider) subscription-based service.
